Have you heard of the concept behind the book "Atomic Habits" by James Clear? The idea is to make small changes to achieve your goals instead of overwhelming yourself with trying to do everything at once.
Personally, I've been wanting to learn guitar for a long time, but life always seemed to get in the way. I rarely made an attempt due to the emotions I was experiencing at the time.
Recently, I realized that I was never going to learn if my guitar remained in a room I hardly used. So, I made a simple change this week - I moved my guitar downstairs where I can see it every day.
The outcome? I finally tuned it and played a few chords. It may have only been for a brief moment, but the transformation from a neglected instrument to one making music is significant.
I encourage everyone to apply this concept to areas causing them anxiety. For many, it may be the daunting job search process. Start by focusing on your passions, then gradually narrow down your search to industries, organizations, roles, and beyond.
