This is Valspar, my five-year-old rescue turtle, and indeed, she is always judging you no matter what.

Today, I reflect on a memorable interview experience from years past with Quintiles, now known as IQVIA. Amidst the chaos of the current job market - unclear requisitions, endless interviews, and ghosting after free projects - this encounter stands out.
After engaging discussions with the recruiter and hiring manager, a pleasant surprise awaited me. The day before my scheduled third interview, I received unexpected news - the final round was unnecessary. It wasn't a result of any misstep but a testament to their confidence in my abilities, background, and enthusiasm. An offer swiftly followed, skipping further rounds.
Looking towards the future, I envision a shift to more efficient and impactful hiring practices. Let's move away from exhaustive interrogations and unpaid tasks, offering candidates a chance to shine in one decisive interaction.
