In grade school, I stood out as a unique and eclectic individual. While my peers were engrossed in outdoor activities, I took it upon myself to delve into the art of Calligraphy. This unconventional choice didn't always sit well with the nuns at my Catholic elementary school, who favored my focus be on mastering cursive handwriting instead.
As I reflect on the fast-paced digital age we live in, dominated by smartphones and streaming platforms, I realize how much I've missed nurturing my creativity through Calligraphy, especially since drawing was never my strong suit.
Feeling inspired, I've made the decision to reignite my passion for this elegant and time-honored form of writing. I'm excited to embark on this journey of rediscovery and skill enhancement.
Looking ahead, my goal is to share this art form with others by offering classes in the near future. If you're located in the triangle area, I invite you to express your interest as I collaborate with Sip & Script (https://sipandscript.com) for these upcoming sessions.
Join me, where anyone can master Calligraphy and savor the experience with a glass of wine in charming venues, even fellow southpaws!
