Brainstorming While Hiking

Today, I decided to head outside for a leisurely hike before the heat became overwhelming. I don't know about you, but it's nearly impossible to stay in a bad mood when surrounded by nature.
Returning to my computer, I was eager to continue working on a technical specification for an upcoming interview. While some people dislike documentation, I actually enjoy it. Being in nature helped clear my mind and provided me with fresh perspectives.
Researching how your decisions will impact a product, taking into account the competitive landscape, and ultimately determining what is within scope is an incredibly enlightening process.
I miss the kind of work that I used to do; I miss working. Volunteering can be fulfilling when you’re unemployed, but it can also be quite demanding, as people sometimes take advantage of your generosity.
Once I complete the document, I intend to share a template I’ve developed in my portfolio to observe how others approach their tech specs or PRDs (Product Requirements Documents). It’s imperative that all features have accompanying documentation, as nothing can surpass thorough research and the continued maintenance of this document for the benefit of others.
In the meantime, I hope everyone can spend some time outdoors and appreciate their communities. I’ve taken a photo of Umstead Park, and I hope you enjoy it.
